Are you one of those families who always buy raffle tickets but never really win anything? We usually are, but not this time.
Our local fruit and veg shop were hosting a raffle for Swanwick Lyons who raise money for various local causes, so I chose the number 6 square for Joseph and forgot all about it. On Good Friday whilst driving in the rain through Belgium, I got a call to say we had won the prize, an enormous chocolate Easter egg.
The egg was delivered to us on our return and as you can see it took a little bit of breaking into.
It was and still is delicious.

My 50th Year - Goals

As we are now in April nearly half way through I thought it would be good to look at the list and share it with hubby. So on our long journey home from our latest house exchange to Germany we went through the list and found, not to my surprise, that not one challenge had been started or goal achieved.

So it was decided that for the next 15 weeks, I would focus on a few of the goals. So in no particular order they are:-
- To drop a dress size (re-join Slimming World and develop a regular exercise routine)
- Sail Lollipop on my own (Lollipop is my Scow being loving restored for me by hubby)
- Write a blog
- Make a successful Swiss Roll
I will regularly keep you posted on how these things are going.
